Frequently asked questions
Can we keep our existing phones?
Yes. Analog handsets connect through an FXS gateway, so you do not have to replace everything at once. This suits hotels that want to migrate in stages.
Can we still make calls if the internet goes down?
An on-site PBX keeps internal calls working. For outside calls we design a backup route, such as existing phone lines or a GSM gateway.
How is 3CX different from a traditional PBX?
3CX runs on your LAN, so adding extensions needs no new wiring. Staff can take calls on their mobiles away from the office, and we can support the system remotely.
